The K-index ranges from 1 to 9. The K-index is calculated during a 3-hour interval based on the average values observed from various regions of the Earth. K-indices from Icheon, Gangneung and Jeju stations in South Korea are also available.
The variations in the geomagnetic field measured by GOES satellites (the horizontal components of the Earth’s rotation axis, Hp) are averaged every minute. The nanoTelsa is used as the unit of measurement.

Yesterday and today’s values of absolute solar flux in the wavelength bands, as measured in five different solar radio observatories around the world, are shown.
A total of 11 different types of solar images in various wavelength bands are displayed. Some of the solar images are observed by extreme ultraviolet and include the solar corona, solar white light and solar magnetic field distribution.
It shows images of the ionosphere data as measured by Icheon and Jeju stations. By imaging data every 15 minutes, it provides daily images with lists and observed values of foF2 plots, which display the intermittent variation of the ionospheric vertical maximum usable frequency.

K-indices are calculated based on D and H components by using the magnetometers in Icheon, Gangneung and Jeju stations.
The values of the TEC (Total Electron Content) in the ionosphere observed in Icheon and Jeju stations are displayed. The values might temporarily fluctuate due to solar activity or geomagnetic storms.
